An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and members with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By visiting the Renaud Center, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Wash your hands often

Clean your hands often, either with soap and water for 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

Stay home if you're sick

Stay home and self-isolate even with minor symptoms such as cough, headache, mild fever, until you recover.

Practice social distancing

Maintain at least 6 feet distance between yourself and others.

Avoid gathering in groups

Keeping distance from others is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring with me?

  • Workout towel (Towel services will not be provided; the service will eventually return.)
  • Water bottle (Drinking fountains will be closed.)
  • A lock, if you plan to use a locker.
  • A basketball, volleyball, etc., if you plan to practice social distancing sports. No ball check-out will be provided.
  • Members are encouraged to wear masks when they aren’t working out.

What are you doing to keep members safe?

  • Traffic Flow – We will maintain a single entry/exit point and regulate traffic flow where possible.
  • Temperature Checks – Staff and members will receive temperature checks.
  • PPE for All Staff – All staff will be required to wear masks while serving members.
  • New Spacing – We have rearranged our equipment and environments to support social distancing.
  • Cleaning – We have deep cleaned the facility and updated our cleaning procedures.

  • Gymnasium (Open for basketball shooting only, no organized games. Social distancing required. Bring your own ball; ball checkout is unavailable.)
  • Locker Rooms/Restrooms (Showers are discouraged at this time)

Will I be charged membership dues in May?

As a reminder, we did not charge membership dues in April or May. We also will be crediting all of our members who had previously paid a March payment, so if you paid membership dues in March, they will be applied to your June payment. If you started a new membership since March, you will be charged on June 15.
