Pool Reservation FAQs

Did you start offering programming in the pool area, as well?

Yes! It is important to note, Aqua Aerobics is limited to 24 guests per session and Water Walking is limited to 8 guests per session.

Private Swim Lessons are offered during non-open swim times (instructors will wear masks.)

Limited Group Swim Lessons are also available (instructors will wear masks.)

Is anything different with lap swimming?

Lap swim continues as scheduled on the Drop-in Schedule (PDF).

We ask that members remain at one swimmer per lane and limit themselves to 30 minutes per session.

Will any concessions be sold?

Our concession stand now offers a limited number of menu items. Per social distancing guidelines, please wait six feet apart from members who do not live in your home. Limited tables and seating are available and you must be from the same household to share those areas.

At this time, drinking fountains are unavailable.

What pool amenities available to members?

Yes. There will be a limited number of chairs available to members. We ask that members not move the deck furniture. As well, the slide is open and members are asked to stand six feet apart while waiting for their turn.

Life jacket rentals is currently unavailable. Members will need to bring their own U.S. Coast Guard-approved flotation devices.

Lastly, though showers are available, we strongly suggest that members shower at home at this time.

What’s new about entering and exiting the pool?

As usual, members will enter the pool through the locker rooms. However, the deck (area around the pool) is now one way (clockwise direction), only.

When your time slot has ended, you must leave the pool area. Renaud Center staff will need to clean and sanitize the area before the next session begins. Once a member exits the locker rooms, there will be no re-entry into the Natatorium.
